INTRODUCING KENWORTH'S ZERO EMISSION, CLASS 8 FUEL CELL ELECTRIC VEHICLE
Building on the success of the ZANZEFF "Shore to Store" pilot program, Kenworth and Toyota are advancing their collaboration with a hydrogen fuel cell Class 8 tractor designed for production. Kenworth has incorporated Toyota's latest hydrogen fuel cell technology into its flagship T680 on-highway truck. The T680 FCEV offers a range of up to 724 km, providing sustainable fleets with a new option for regional use. The vehicle stores most of its energy as compressed hydrogen gas, which reduces the need for large batteries and makes it an ideal solution for operators concerned with weight.
