Groupe Kenworth Montréal welcomes two new recruits

SAINT-LAURENT (Québec)

Groupe Kenworth Montréal recently welcomed Pierre Drapeau and Mathieu Charlebois to its team, who will respectively occupy the positions of Parts manager and Business developement manager (Mirabel branch).

Mr. Drapeau holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration as well as an MBA. To date, he has 14 years of experience in managing the sales force of companies in fields of activity related to that of heavy vehicles, namely spare parts (UAP Traction division), forklifts (Hewitt Equipment Ltée.) and transport (Groupe Robert).

As a member of the management committee, Pierre Drapeau will report to Mike Parent, General Manager, and will be entrusted with the management of the parts department of Groupe Kenworth Montréal, whose activities include supply, operations and sales of parts and service. Mr. Drapeau will also be responsible for setting up the brand new TRP distribution center in Laval, which will become one of the largest PACCAR spare parts warehouses in the world; a major project for the Group despite the particular circumstances.

Mr. Charlebois began his managerial role as Director of Marketing and Sales for six years in a company specializing in vehicle rental (Discount). Then, he held strategic positions at the heart of companies in the automotive sector – Kia and Ford. He also holds a BBA and an MBA.

Mathieu Charlebois, who will be a member of the management committee and will also report to Mike Parent, will oversee all operational and business development activities related to the Mirabel branch. This new chapter in the history of the company will help to optimize the logistics of operations insofar as the branch will first be used for the preparation of new vehicles and then possibly also to welcome customers to its service department. In all cases, this will allow the Saint-Laurent branch to have more availabilities for the maintenance of customer vehicles. The general public opening date for our service and parts departments will be announced later this year.
